The author, Kimberly Bender, is a land use attorney and the Executive Director at one of the District’s most wonderful hidden gems – the Heurich House Museum. Also known as the “Brewmaster’s Castle”, this fireproof and intact Victorian mansion was built by D.C.’s most successful brewer, Christian Heurich, and is located in Dupont Circle. Come visit!
