Some stories are just too intriguing to keep to yourself. This week, I spoke to WAMU’s Rebecca Sheir about the perplexing case of Harrison G. Dyar, Jr., D.C.’s own Smithsonian entomologist, bigamist, and secret tunnel digger. (I first reported the story on the location HERE). Sheir interviewed me a Dyar’s former Dupont Circle address, where he dug his first underground multi-storied labyrinth. We looked around for any sign of an entrance, to no avail. The story aireds on Metro Connection, this Friday July 8 at 1 pm and Saturday July 9 at 7 am. You can tune in live HERE, or listen to a recording HERE.
