The author, Kimberly Bender, is the Executive Director at one of the District’s most wonderful gems – the Heurich House Museum.  Also known as the “Brewmaster’s Castle”, this fireproof and intact historic mansion was built by D.C.’s most successful brewer, Christian Heurich, and is located in Dupont Circle.  Come visit!
